Position:
Internship - Grant / Investment / Fixed Income Analyst and Controller (6 months with the potential for transitioning to full-time employment after the internship)
Workload:
Full-time (42 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support for internal and external processes, including grant, investment, and bounty procedures.
* Assist in evaluating funding requests and due diligence on investment prospects.
* Conduct market research on web3 topics like Decentralized Finance, Blockchain Gaming and more.
* Generate management reports.
* Oversee KPIs for funded non-technical initiatives.
* Calculate bonds under IFRS 9 (EIR / amortized cost), including interest/coupon tracking and realized/unrealized gains and losses.
* Perform quarterly valuation of equity investments and precious metals.
* Support the Finance team with various tasks in controlling and special projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or Economics / Finance.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
* Proactive and optimistic attitude.
* Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
* Eager to learn more about blockchain.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Eager to learn more about IFRS 9.
Nice to Have:
* Familiarity with web3 technologies and popular blockchain protocols.
* Understanding of funding mechanisms and legal implications.
* Networking experience and relationship-building skills.
* Treasury or financial instruments experience.
