Manpower Ticino is currently seeking a Category Buyer for a valued client operating in the industrial technology sector. The company is an international fast-growing organization that develops and delivers innovative solutions for critical infrastructure markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage purchasing activities for an assigned category of technical components and materials.
* Issue and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and supply continuity.
* Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance.
* Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support business needs.
* Monitor inventory, lead times, and procurement KPIs.
* Ensure ERP data accuracy and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
* Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or technical procurement within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of technical, electrical, electronic, or industrial components.
* Experience working with ERP systems and supplier management.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to manage priorities autonomously and work cross‑functionally.
* Fluent English (minimum B2); Italian is an asset.
* EU/Swiss work eligibility.
