PbVF Corporation /b is looking for an exceptional bCustoms Specialist – EMEA /bto join our team based in Stabio, Switzerland. /ppbLet’s talk about the role! /b /ppAs a Customs Specialist EMEA, you will play a critical role in ensuring our import and export operations meet all legal and business requirements. You’ll be part of a high-performing team that supports compliance across multiple regions, with a strong focus on: /pliCustoms Compliance: Ensure adherence to customs regulations for shipments from Asia Pacific and Latin America to the EU and UK. /liliTrade Expertise: Apply your customs knowledge to support smooth operations. In this role, the classification of our products will be the main key element of the day-to-day workload. /liliCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments (e.g., product teams, logistics, master data) and external stakeholders (e.g., consultant, customs authorities, brokers, carriers) to document drive the classification process. /liliProcess Improvement: Take part in partnering with external parties to fine-tune the classification process and tools used. This includes an AI driven engine that supports the classification process in 4 jurisdictions across Europe and is linked to a global roll-out on classification across the globe (US Asia) /lipbSkills for Success: /b /pliBachelor’s degree in economics, Law, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience). /liliA few years of progressive experience in customs or trade compliance and more specifically a strong connection to the classification process of products according to the EU tariff scheme. /liliStrong understanding of customs legislation and operational processes. /liliExcellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex data sets. /liliFluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus. /liliProficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant systems, open to learn work with the AI driven engine (Trade Classifier) used in today’s processes. /liliOccasional travel within Europe is required to support audits, team collaboration, and engagement with customs authorities and external partners /lipbAbout VF /b /ppVF is a global apparel company connecting people to the lifestyles they cherish through our family of iconic brands.
