Responsibilities
* Service Diagnostic Equipment in the Pocatello, ID area. Role level determined by prior experience.
* Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
* Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to achieve optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
* Manage financial performance within territory: meet or exceed revenue, control expenses, and manage inventory.
* Maintain calibration and usage records for tool and test equipment; ensure no overdue calibration is performed in the field and document usage on eFSR.
* Manage company assets including vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
* Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers while performing accurate administrative duties.
* Mentor other Customer Service Engineers on all competencies and responsibilities.
Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
* Ability to establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers while accurately completing administrative duties.
* Experience testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
Required Skills
* Minimum high school diploma; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
* Proficiency with tools and service test equipment; capable of working individually or in a team.
* Proficiency in necessary network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website – Engineer Tools).
* Ability to locate, read and understand documents for installation, set‑up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams and functional descriptions.
* 5‑7 years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
* Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; able to drive independently day and night.
* Physical ability: lift 50 lbs, walk, use ladders/step‑stools, bend, twist, sit, squat, stand, reach high, manipulate finely, have good vision, and work both alone and in a team.
Base Pay Range
$67,550 – $92,884
