Business Development Manager - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Polymer & Crystallization business unit in Winterthur, Houston or Singapore. He/ she will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving growth.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
1. Conducting in-depth market analysis to identify trends, potential clients, and emerging technologies related to bio-based feedstocks, recycling, and fine chemicals
2. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including chemical manufacturers, research institutions, and government bodies
3. Creating and executing business development strategies aligned with our sustainability goals along with identifying new revenue streams and partnership opportunities
4. Working closely with our technical teams to understand our offerings and communicating the value proposition to clients in order to position our sustainable technologies effectively
5. Developing business cases for offered solutions (NPV, IRR, etc.) and preparing compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases for potential clients
6. Attending conferences, trade shows, and industry events to stay informed and connect with industry leaders
To succeed in this role, you will need:
7. Master or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering / Sciences
8. Minimum of 10 years professional experience preferably in strategic consultancy and / or MBA and / or strategic roles
9. In-depth know-how in market analysis and economic market aspects and application thereof
10. Experience in chemical / chemical engineering / process industry preferred
11. Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
