At Sulzer Falkirk, we’re the High Voltage Service Centre of Excellence, delivering world-class solutions for motor and generator repairs, upgrades, and maintenance. We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our expert team, working remotely while supporting customers across onshore and offshore sites in power generation, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Investigate, dismantle, test, and overhaul LV & HV motors, pumps, and rotating equipment at customer sites.
* Carry out rewinds and mechanical repairs using advanced tools and techniques.
* Record build tolerances, complete accurate job documentation, and maintain high standards of quality.
* Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
* Champion safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Electrical/Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience in rotating machinery.
* Proven track record in repairing LV, HV, DC motors and other rotating equipment.
* Ability to read mechanical drawings, strong attention to detail, and practical problem-solving.
* Adaptable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
* Full and valid licence preferred
