At the center of Gros-de-Vaud, the LEB represents an essential axis for the mobility of its residents.
To keep pace with significant growth, the LEB line is set to introduce a 10-minute frequency between Echallens and Lausanne in the coming years; the projects on the LEB line will be very important.
The acquisition of new trains and the mid-life refurbishment of the existing trains are part of this.
A total budget of 60 million is planned to ensure the advancement of our projects; we are looking for a multidisciplinary project manager for the LEB rail operations.
Your mission: Integrated into the teams dedicated to the projects of the LEB line, you will lead large-scale projects (worth several tens of millions of francs) concerning the rolling stock of the LEB, including the acquisition of new trains and the mid-life refurbishment of existing trains.
In your activities, you are responsible for defining the scope of complex projects, establishing and leading the project team functionally, constructing, monitoring the budget, and overseeing the implementation.
You will coordinate the various stakeholders in projects, ensuring analyses, public procurement calls for tenders, budget management, steering necessary processes, monitoring, and implementation (acquisition and renewal management, obsolescence management) of these projects.
You will be required to work closely with production teams to carry out the various technical studies related to rolling stock and its maintenance, relying on field personnel as well as various profiles.
Qualifications:- Diploma in X (mechanics, electronics, or embedded systems) completed by a project management qualification.- Over 7 years of experience in managing large-scale projects at a public transport operator or manufacturer, ideally in the railway domain.- Excellent writing skills in French, good knowledge of German, autonomy, and proactivity ensure quality follow-up within deadlines.- Your sense of analysis and rigor allows you to make necessary decisions.- Your ease of communication and collaboration gives you a strong ability to work in a team and adapt to your colleagues.
