Job description
The store manager optimises, within the framework of the predetermined goals of the brand, the quantitative and qualitative results of his store.
Team leadership
1. Recruiting new employees according to a predefined profile and with the agreement of HR and retail manager
2. Integrating and training new employees
3. Passing the passion for the brand on to the team, to constantly evolve customer service
4. Accompany and foster co-workers, to ensure they continue the acquisition of new skills and theyre employment during sales (selling skills, products, visual merchandising)
5. Organisation and execution of meetings in collaboration with the assistant store manager
6. Regular evaluation of the performance, skills, and development of each co-worker by conducting MAGs, etc.dd
7. Paying attention to co-workers (praise success, discuss problems), to build up trust, as well as to build it out.
8. Take on a neutral role/referee in case of occurring conflicts
9. Motivating and empower co-workers on a daily basis, to reach monthly and quarterly primes.
Sales management: boost sales
10. Ensuring and controlling the co-workers contribution during sales
11. Determination of goals
12. Boost the KPI
13. Determining of daily priorities and challenges, zoning, etc.
14. Dynamization of the team
15. Serving as an idol in terms of service and customer care
16. Knowledge of different collections and products (tendencies, style, material, etc.)
17. Constant monitoring, to ensure a unique purchase experience (availability of the team, quality of customer care, speed of cashing in, role reversal within the team)
18. Ensuring the regularly offered services to customers (repairs, exchange, vouchers, delivery by mail, etc)
19. Staying vigilant concerning eventual theft, so it can be prevented.
Setting the scene for the brand (image, product, merchandising)
20. Steadily monitoring to ensure a safe, tidy, and clean store
21. Monitor the overall comfort, to ensure the customer experiences it (atmosphere within the store, lighting, music, etc.)
22. Organising and executing the presentation by respecting the norms of merchandising and guidelines (take on changes, depending on the store)
23. Educating the co-workers on the topic of visual merchandising
Leading the store
24. Plan and schedule work schedules of the team, by considering the current and future needs of co-workers
25. Optimising expenditures, which can influence the operating statement (office supplies, telephone, etc.)
26. Take on the role as a role model concerning the strict compliance of the cash register manual and different procedures in terms of money (bank statements, status of cash register, etc)
27. Analyse results based on collections and indicators, so a plan can be executed
Store organisation
28. Monitoring the organisation and clean-up of the material reserve as well as the back office according to the defined process
29. Ensuring the logistical tasks (qualitative and quantitative control of deliveries, unpacking the packages and placement of wares within the store)
30. Apply and respect the various specifications of the product flow (process of falsely delivered wares, transfers, defect wares, returns, etc.)
31. Deliver propositions, to ensure that the stock is adapted according to operating volume and capacity of wares
32. Confirmation of ware-orders and ensuring the optimal replenishment of wares according to the analysis of the stock
33. Organise, prepare and execution of the inventory; define an action plan, to better the results
34. Guarantee the security of the goods as well as people (customers and employees), respecting the hygiene regulations

Professional requirements
45. Education as a salesperson in retail and /or education as a sales coordinator with commercial skills as an advantage
46. Experience in sales and leadership of a store and its sales staff, or as assistant store manager
