The Strategic Business Unit Weighing Solutions is responsible for the high-end laboratory weighing and dosing business within METTLER TOLEDO. As a market leader, we differentiate ourselves from competitors through unique innovations with perceived customer value. Our main markets include Pharma, Chemical, Food, and Testing Lab industries for R&D, Quality Control, and Scale-up / Pre-production workplaces.
To ensure the steady growth of the Laboratory Weighing Unit and maintain high product quality, we are seeking a goal- and strategically oriented Product Manager Laboratory Balances 100% (f/m/d).
Your responsibilities include:
* Owning one of our Excellence laboratory balance portfolios, driving its success and innovation.
* Promoting solutions at market organizations using a value selling approach.
* Defining sales and marketing tools for effective portfolio promotion.
* Planning and executing sales trainings, events, and market introductions to support a robust Go-To-Market strategy.
* Collaborating with business area managers and sales teams to ensure seamless communication between product management and market organizations.
* Identifying strategic growth opportunities based on segment, workflow, and application knowledge.
* Developing solution strategies, ensuring continuous improvements and staying ahead of market trends.
* Creating compelling business cases and value propositions for new solutions and leading product development projects in collaboration with R&D.
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
* A background in Science, Engineering, or a related field (e.g., University / FH degree in Chemistry), ideally with laboratory experience.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., product management with marketing experience) within an international environment, preferably in a global matrix organization.
* Effective networking and communication skills.
* A strong customer focus combined with analytical skills, proactive execution, and commercial acumen to recognize business opportunities.
* Strong organizational and strategic skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; German is a plus.
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%.
