Ph3About the team you are joining /h3 pReporting to the Director of Flight Technical Operations, you will be responsible for helping define, implement and coordinate all aspects of the IATA ATM strategy. You will also lead initiatives to help define the IATA and industry strategy for embracing the opportunities and challenges of emerging technologies such as eVTOL, supersonic and commercial space flights. You will ensure IATA positions and policies related to ATM are taken into account during the planning and implementation of ATM services, systems and associated infrastructure, and ensure harmonization between US NextGen, EU SESAR and ICAO Global Air Navigation Plan (including ASBU). /p h3What your day would be like /h3 ul liLead a global team to help define IATA’s long‑term strategy for ATM and the key priorities in the short and medium term. /li liEnsure coordination of all advisory council and working group activities related to this area. /li liEnsure member requirements for communication, navigation and surveillance are fully understood and concisely communicated within the industry. /li liIn close coordination with ICAO and relevant stakeholders monitor the implementation of the ICAO Global Air Navigation Plan, NextGen, SESAR and other regional/national ATM modernization plans. /li liDevelop and coordinate action plans to ensure IATA positions and policies are considered during the planning and implementation of the above‑mentioned ATM programs and plans. /li liIdentify and support the Director of Flight Technical Operations to drive new initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency. /li liLead and coordinate the establishment and promotion of IATA ATM charge positions, and together with the OSS Data team, establish appropriate KPIs to monitor ATM performance. /li liContribute to the development of CNS/ATM policies and guidance material. /li liMaintain close working relationships with ANSPs, airlines and key industry stakeholders such as ICAO, ICCAIA, CANSO, IFALPA, ACI and EUROCONTROL. /li /ul h3We would love to hear from you if /h3 ul li10 years of professional experience with a strong background in aviation industry knowledge, including air traffic management operations. /li liA university degree in business, aviation, or engineering. /li liKnowledge and credibility to lead IATA presentations with global stakeholders, influence key industry stakeholders and manage an internal team of subject‑matter experts. /li liAbility to drive collaborations and knowledge exchange across IATA, including our regions as well as with external partners, is essential. /li liComprehensive understanding of economic considerations related to ATM/ATS service provision as well as current and future business models, including the impact of increasing levels of automation. /li liKnowledge and experience of managing and implementing projects is an advantage. /li liAppropriate IT skills, particularly with MS Office. /li liExcellent oral and written communication skills in English. /li /ul pTravel Required: 10% /p h3Diversity and Inclusion /h3 pDiversity and Inclusion are key priorities, and we aim to role‑model them.
