Position Overview :
The primary focus of this role is to manage EMEA Animal Nutrition (AN) and PET co-manufacturers by establishing proper legal contractual and governing relations to secure supply (OTIF), optimize costs, and ensure safe working conditions.
You will oversee co-manufacturing activities for all AN and PET entities, including Feed Additives & Ingredients, Feed, Premix, and Minerals. This position has one direct report.
Key Responsibilities :
The primary duties of co-manufacturing management include :
* Secure all contractual and procedural relations between ADM and co-manufacturers.
* Ensure contracts enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies to meet safety and sustainability objectives.
* Manage co-manufacturing budget, track variances, and mitigate risks.
* Develop robust contracts with support from procurement and legal teams; implement SLAs to strengthen partnerships and foster long-term collaborations.
* Ensure compliance with ADM standards, relevant legislation (safety, SOX, etc.), and quality requirements.
* Conduct or review environmental audits to promote environmentally friendly processes and initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
* Ensure co-manufacturers integrate ADM’s S&OP process to secure supply and meet OTIF targets.
* Ensure proper inventory management by co-manufacturers to avoid waste and financial loss.
* Maintain competitive cost structures and pricing strategies.
* Monitor and report KPIs for continuous improvement and cost optimization.
* Support logistics in managing packaging and relabeling operations per quality standards (Late Differentiation Project).
* Ensure timely and accurate data entry in ERP systems related to co-manufactured products.
* Coordinate IT transactions with tollers, ensuring they meet quality standards with support from the co-manufacturing supply planner.
* Proactively alert stakeholders of non-compliance issues with contractual commitments.
New Product Introduction & Co-manufacturers Management :
* Support growth by identifying and establishing partnerships with suitable suppliers.
* Develop and implement “Make or Buy” analyses to inform sourcing decisions.
* Conduct market studies to identify new suppliers and expand the supplier base.
* Select co-manufacturers, manage RFQs, and educate stakeholders on selection processes.
* Perform due diligence to ensure infrastructure readiness and compliance with ADM standards.
* Lead co-manufacturing projects, respecting budgets, schedules, and quality standards using ADM project management tools.
* Manage continuous improvement projects (CI).
* Support the commercialization of new products from concept to launch, including operational feasibility and project follow-up.

Skills & Experiences :
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related fields.
* 15+ years in co-manufacturing, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain management; strategic purchasing is a plus.
* Knowledge of the food/feed processing industry.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Fluent in English and French; additional European languages are advantageous.
