Today MSC is looking for a Buyer to join its Procurement Team.
YOUR IMPACT
As part of the Procurement Team, and reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will play a role in supporting the various entities of the MSC Group to design robust procurement processes driving automation, efficiency & cost management.
You will:
1. Analyze market trends, cost drivers and global risks to build forward-looking strategies
2. Handle end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier evaluations, site audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
3. Build and maintain a high performing supplier base capable of meeting current and future business needs
4. Develop and deploy Category Souring Strategies across the organization, ensuring alignment with the various MSC Entities
5. Support and Lead Negotiations and Cost Management
6. Drive Supplier performance through structured reviews focused on cost, quality and delivery.
7. Promote continuous improvement through automation tools to elevate the procurement processes and operational efficiency.
8. Ensure compliance and ethical standards in line with Company Values and Governance.
Required Qualifications
YOUR BACKGROUND
9. Graduate in Engineering / Procurement / Chemistry / Mathematics / Business preferred
10. Analytical approach with the ability to assess market trends and Supplier capabilities
11. Excellent proficiency in English. Other languages a plus.
12. Strong Interpersonal skills
13. High degree of flexibility
14. Natural negotiator with an ability to build a continuous pipeline of cost saving initiatives
15. Problem solver
