Design, Build and Launch Switzerland’s Next Bi-Liquid Rocket to +9 km
Are you ready to push the limits of student rocketry in Europe?
The next generation of ARIS’s bi-liquid propulsion project is now in preparation. Set to launch in 2026, this rocket will build upon the foundation of HERMES — featuring a guided recovery system, liquid propulsion, and a projected apogee above 9 km. It will be the first ARIS rocket to exceed 8 kN of thrust and adopt a larger structural diameter to enable new system integration challenges, paving the way for future higher altitude Launch Vehicles.
We are looking for passionate students to join this ambitious mission. Whether you’re interested in propulsion, avionics, structures, recovery, GNC, testing, or systems engineering — this is your chance to shape the most advanced rocket ever developed by ARIS.
Role Description
As a team member, you will become part of a high-paced and hands-on environment where you’ll be responsible for designing, simulating, building, and testing rocket components in a student-led team.
This is a general application for all prospective roles in the Rocketry 2025/26 project.
Please clearly indicate in your motivation letter which technical areas / subsystems you’re most interested in — and if you’re applying for a leadership position (e.g., Team Lead), mention your relevant experience.
