To complete the team, the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences and the Institute of Psychology is looking for a
Junior Lecturer in social psychology (Postdoctoral position)
in Christian Staerklé’s team, Professor of Social Psychology, Social Psychology Laboratory (UNILaPS).

Expected start date: August 1st, 2025
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable twice for 2 years each, maximum total of 5 years
Activity rate: 100%
Starting annual salary: 83'160 CHF
Your responsibilities
You will:
* Devote 50% of your activity to research: collaborative projects in social and political psychology, developing new projects, writing articles.
* Devote 50% to teaching and shared research: supervising Master theses, participating in exam correction, co-organizing courses and seminars.
We seek candidates with:
* A PhD in Psychology or related discipline
* At least one year of postdoctoral research experience
* A research program in social and/or political psychology
* Extensive experience in research methods and quantitative data analysis
* Knowledge of qualitative methods is a plus
* Published work in peer-reviewed journals
* Fluency in English and French (teaching mainly in French, research in English)
* Motivation to join the Social Psychology lab (UNILaPS)
* A cooperative attitude and collaborative spirit
