Responsibilities
What you will move in this role:
* You are responsible for entering, checking and posting domestic and foreign supplier invoices
* You are responsible for organising regular payment runs in coordination with the purchasing department
* You are responsible for processing bank statements and posting incoming payments
* You are involved in account reconciliations between the general ledger and sub-ledger, monthly and annual financial statements, VAT statements for Switzerland and Germany as well as warehouse and asset accounting
* You work on finance-specific or cross-divisional projects
Qualifications
What skills and experience you should bring:
* You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship, preferably with further training as a ‘Sachbearbeiter/in Rechnungswesen’
* You have several years of professional experience in comparable financial accounting functions, preferably in companies related to industry/production or research/development
* You have experience in working with ERP systems, ideally with IGF - INFOR Global Finance
* You have experience with VAT accounting in Switzerland and advance VAT returns in Germany is an advantage
* You have a structured way of working, are proactive and have a strong team spirit
* Good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile
