Software Project Lead: Designing the Future of Flight Training
Our team is seeking a skilled software project lead to oversee the development of innovative flight training systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and implementing software components for ground-based training systems.
Collaborating closely with project system engineers, you will ensure accurate requirement capturing, traceability, and testability. Your expertise in front-end development using JavaScript, HTML5 for web applications, and C++ and C#/.NET for desktop applications will be crucial in delivering high-quality software components.
In addition to software development, you will be responsible for producing software tests, test procedures, and documentation for implemented software components. Your ability to coordinate activities and guide small project teams in software implementation activities will be invaluable in ensuring project success.
To succeed in this role, you will need an engineering degree in software, electronics, or aeronautical engineering, along with at least 5 years of experience in both front-end and back-end software development for cross-platform applications such as Windows, Linux, and Web.
A strong background in leading software development projects, software version control systems like Git, and familiarity with aircraft avionics and requirement-based software development standards are essential. Fluency in English (C1) is mandatory, while additional languages are advantageous.
This position requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work autonomously within agile/Scrum teams and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
