About the Role:
* Advise clients on trade finance transactions, including pre-export and post-export financing, structured trade finance, and commodity trading agreements.
* Draft, negotiate, and review legal documentation related to trade finance deals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Assist clients in navigating the complexities of legal and regulatory frameworks governing international trade and finance.
* Collaborate with cross-border teams to provide integrated legal solutions tailored to client needs.
* Conduct legal research and offer strategic insights on emerging trends in trade finance and commodities law.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues throughout the firm.
* Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the firm's thought leadership efforts in the area of trade finance.
Requirements:
* Candidates must be qualified solicitors in the UK or commonwealth jurisdiction with a minimum of 3 years and up to 6 years of post-qualification experience in trade finance or related fields.
