Job Description
* Monitor and manage the consolidated budget, working closely with key stakeholders (e.g., IT, Finance).
* Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, presentations, and memos showing current and forecasted budget figures.
* Support the annual budget cycle and ensure the accuracy of budget reports.
* Deliver finance and budget management training to relevant teams.
* Support contract managers with procurement‑related processes (e.g., requisitions) and apply best practices.
* Provide financial analysis to highlight risks and opportunities; recommend or facilitate budget reallocation when needed and approved.
* Assist with selected tax administration tasks.
About The Customer
The Senior Finance and Business Planning Manager will oversee budget planning and monitoring, support contract management, and help drive departmental priorities and project coordination.
Start date: ASAP, latest February 2026.
Duration: 24 months.
Location: Basel (Hybrid).
Workload: 100%.
Requirements
* Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or similar; professional finance/accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
* Minimum five years’ experience in budgeting and finance (e.g., FP&A), including budget and resource coordination for projects.
* Strong Excel skills and IT competency, with data entry or accounting systems.
* Fluent English (spoken and written).
* Foundational knowledge or experience in financial markets.
