Location: GenevaWork Pattern Percentage: 80% - 100%Our Tax Team offers integrated tax services that help our clients to successfully manage local and global challenges. Do you want to advise discerning clients on different tax regulatory regimes? As Senior Consultant you will be part of our Financial Services Tax (FSI) team and take a vital role within our team of specialists, supporting them in tax regulatory advisory and compliance projects for Swiss and international banks, insurance and trust companies as well as asset managers. 1. Embrace the opportunity to take on functions with client contact for cross-divisional projects in various industries from day one
2. Take the opportunity to deepen your knowledge around tax aspects relevant to the financial services industry, including
3. Client tax reporting regimes such as the US FATCA, the OECD Automatic Exchange of Information (CRS) and Crypto Assets Reporting Framework (CARF);
4. EU Directives such as DAC6, DAC8 and FASTER;
5. Transaction related taxes such as the Swiss Stamp Duty and European FTTs;
6. Withholding taxes on financial income, including Qualified Intermediary rules, Swiss and foreign withholding tax as well as related refund procedures;
7. Taxation of financial products under Swiss as well as foreign tax rules, incl. special regimes such as §871(m) or §1446.
8. Work directly with senior team members, assisting them with regulatory research, client presentations and proposals. In addition, you will participate in client meetings or support clients with ad-hoc regulatory reviews and audits or short-term assignments
9. Work in a cross-divisional as well as international team and collaborate with other teams around the world

Who We Are Looking For
11. You have a Master degree preferably in business administration, economics or law, ideally with tax knowledge
12. You have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in the areas mentioned above gained in a big four or in house at a bank, but at the minimum
13. You participated in QI, FATCA and CRS (periodic) reviews
14. You have an overview of QI, FATCA and CRS reporting requirements. Any direct experience in the reporting cycle would be an asset
15. You have already participated in QI, FATCA and CRS advisory projects requiring research and first drafting of answers either at a big four for clients on inhouse for your internal stakeholders
16. Any additional experience in Swiss corporate tax and/or AML/KYC would be an advantage
17. You have a positive and pragmatic attitude as well as the willingness to take over responsibility
