This role owns team performance against a team‑based revenue quota and is accountable for consistent execution of selling activities, pipeline discipline, and customer engagement within an assigned territory. This is a high‑presence, hands‑on role requiring regular travel throughout the assigned market and significant time spent in the field coaching sales representatives, supporting key opportunities, and ensuring disciplined execution of the commercial sales strategy. /p h3Duties and Responsibilities /h3 h3Revenue Field Execution /h3 ul liOwn and deliver a team based sales quota, holding direct accountability for revenue attainment, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy. /li liLead and manage field sales and account management teams to achieve territory revenue targets and growth objectives. /li liExecute commercial sales strategies that drive customer acquisition, expansion, and long‑term account value. /li liActively manage sales pipeline and field activity to ensure opportunities progress efficiently through the sales cycle. /li liParticipate directly in key and complex sales opportunities to advance deals, remove obstacles, and reinforce selling standards. /li /ul h3Field Leadership Coaching /h3 ul liSpend a significant portion of time in the field conducting regular ride‑outs with sales representatives. /li liObserve real‑world selling behaviors and provide in‑the‑moment coaching focused on activity quality, execution, and conversion. /li liReinforce consistent use of sales process, tools, and CRM hygiene through hands‑on leadership. /li liDevelop sales talent through ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and targeted skill development. /li liFoster a culture of accountability, urgency, and customer‑first execution. /li /ul h3Operational Discipline Cross‑Functional Alignment /h3 ul liEnsure adherence to company sales processes, including CRM usage, opportunity management, pricing discipline, and business case approvals tied to fiber investment and construction. /li liPartner with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, Construction, and Engineering to support deal execution and scalable growth. /li liMaintain active engagement within assigned communities to strengthen brand presence and uncover new business opportunities. /li liCommunicate clearly and consistently with internal stakeholders and senior leadership regarding performance, risks, and opportunities. /li /ul h3Reporting, Forecasting Market Insight /h3 ul liDeliver accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts tied to field activity and pipeline health. /li liTrack and manage key performance indicators including activity levels, conversion rates, and attainment. /li liMonitor competitive dynamics and market conditions to inform pricing, positioning, and discount recommendations. /li /ul h3People Management /h3 ul liRecruit, onboard, train, and develop field sales talent within the assigned territory. /li liSet clear expectations for activity, performance, and professional growth. /li liConduct regular performance evaluations and address performance gaps with urgency and structure. /li liPerform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Education/Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience. /li li5–8 years of progressive B2B sales experience with demonstrated success achieving revenue targets. /li liMinimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications, fiber, and/or technology sales. /li liProven experience leading quota‑carrying field sales teams. /li liStrong track record of hands‑on field coaching, including ride‑outs and real‑time performance management. /li liProficiency using CRM systems to manage pipeline, activity, and forecasting;
