Overview
Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Product Manager for Joint Reconstruction in Orthopaedics, German speaking region, Switzerland. This role is part of the Swiss Joint Reconstruction business and focuses on product portfolio management, market development, and cross‑functional collaboration for a range of orthopaedic solutions, including joint reconstruction, trauma, sports, spine, robotics, and digital surgery.
Responsibilities
* Own defined product groups and manage performance across product lifecycle.
* Act as key point of contact for stakeholders and partners to align functions.
* Contribute to go‑to‑market strategies, launch plans, and execution in the Swiss market.
* Collaborate with Sales teams to support product adoption and drive business targets.
* Drive market segmentation, targeting, and positioning based on customer insights.
* Analyze KPIs, market data, and financial performance for growth opportunities.
* Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, including healthcare professionals, hospital decision makers, and internal partners.
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to anticipate trends and risks.
* Lead or co‑lead product launch execution and ensure timely implementation.
* Manage selected projects such as campaigns, training, and events.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with EMEA Marketing, Global Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and other functions.
* Ensure alignment with supply chain processes and compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
* Education/training in orthopaedic OR environment or related degree (Uni / FH / ETH).
* 2+ years of professional experience in product management, marketing, or sales in medical devices.
* Experience in orthopaedics or the healthcare industry is a strong advantage.
* Fluency in German and English (business level); French/Italian is a plus.
* Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong analytical skills with data translation into actionable insights.
* Proactive, results‑driven mindset with high ownership and accountability.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work cross‑functionally and internationally.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities.
