Overview
EPAM is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our sales team in Switzerland in a flexible hybrid working setup. You will be responsible for driving continued growth across our Health and Life Sciences (HLS) unit by working closely with our internal Consulting, Marketing, Alliances and Delivery teams and partners in the region.
Your role is that of the skillful originator and coordinator who organizes the meetings and follow-up steps that bring together all the different parties – prospects, clients, account managers, strategists, consultants, technologists and delivery experts – the multi-disciplinary teams who jointly produce the right solutions for our clients.
Having worked for many years in business development for a large IT services provider or one of the leading technology products companies, you bring a network of client contacts to be leveraged in the positioning of EPAM’s capabilities and offerings.
Responsibilities
* Drive HLS related sales and marketing activities within your region but working cross regions to share knowledge
* Coordinate and oversee the preparation of business values propositions, sales plans, RFPs/RFQs/ RFIs; by serving as liaison to Business Units, sales, partner and executive teams
* Work with the cloud vendor to identify opportunities and joint target accounts
* Coordinate with the EPAM and partner teams regarding joint opportunities, including pipeline and forecast reviews
* Work with the assigned partner manager to identify, prepare and deliver product messaging to demonstrate EPAM value prop as a trusted systems integrator
* Drive joint marketing initiatives with marketing teams
Requirements
* Relevant experience in all aspects of the sales life cycle
* Relationships and network building: we need you to be the person who thrives on meeting people and networking, preferably within the HLS domain
* Experience with selling software and IT services is desirable
* Exposure to and network within Life Science, Pharma or Medtech organizations is desirable
* Solutions selling skills and demonstrated success developing and maintaining client and internal relationships
* Ability to communicate effectively across teams with strong verbal, written, collaboration and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in English and German is required for this role
