Main Responsibilities:
·Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of LabVantage LIMS solutions across enterprise and multi-site environments.
·Design and configure complex workflows covering sample lifecycle management, testing, review, approval, and release processes.
·Architect workflows for DNA/RNA sequencing, Request Management, Advanced Storage & Logistics, and Package & Inventory Management.
·Define standardized and reusable workflow frameworks to support scalable global deployments.
·Ensure alignment with best practices, performance, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
·Design and document upstream and downstream system interfaces.
·Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust solution architecture and workflow designs.
·Act as the primary design authority, ensuring functional and technical consistency across implementations.
·Review and validate functional designs, configuration strategies, and technical solutions delivered by project teams.
·Provide architectural guidance to Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams.
·Promote configuration-driven approaches and define customization strategies to ensure long-term platform sustainability.
·Contribute to agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and architectural design reviews.
·Engage directly with customers to lead solution workshops, architecture walkthroughs, and design validation sessions.
·Mentor junior team members on LabVantage best practices and workflow architecture.
Qualifications and Experience:
·More than 10 years of experience in Life Sciences IT, including at least 5 years focused on LabVantage LIMS.
·Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect in enterprise-scale LabVantage implementations.
·Strong hands-on expertise in workflow configuration and optimization within LabVantage.
·Deep understanding of sample lifecycle management, DNA/RNA sequencing workflows, Request Management, Advanced Storage & Logistics, and Package & Inventory Management.
·Experience designing enterprise, multi-site LIMS architectures.
·Experience defining configuration vs. customization strategies.
·Strong documentation skills, including architecture diagrams and workflow models (Visio, Mural).
·Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO).
·Experience delivering complex programs within agile environments.
·Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
