As a Technical Support Engineer at Lunaphore, you will have a unique opportunity to explore and contribute to various aspects of customer support within our dynamic team. The internship involves exposure to most departments of the company with a focus on all Customer Support roles including Field Application Specialist, Field Service Engineer, and Technical Support Specialist. After a few weeks of training and shadowing you will be involved in remote and on-field support for pre-sales and post-sales activities.
Through this internship you will:
Learn about the spatial biology field and how companies in this field are organized
Gain an understanding of different applications available on Lunaphore devices and competition.
Travel inside and potentially outside of Europe with the field team
Run basic staining assays on the setup for testing protocols (training is provided)
Assist in training and supporting customers in operating setups, and implementing assays
Gain insights into the installation, maintenance, and user training for Lunaphore devices
Understand technical aspects of the product thoroughly on the software and hardware side
Gain insights in Technical Support organization and first line customer support
Collaborate with the support, product management and technical team to understand and improve product features
Responsibilities:
Provide remote technical support for customers using Lunaphore's spatial biology solutions
Troubleshoot, document and solve hardware, software and application issues
Create and maintain technical documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides
Conduct virtual training sessions for customers on the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of our spatial biology solutions
Currently pursuing or already in possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Bio-engineering, or a related field
Strong interest in spatial biology and/or a passion for customer support
Troubleshooting, root cause analysis experience
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Fluency in oral and written English is a must, an additional language skill is desirable
Nice to have qualifications:
Experience with life sciences research/diagnostics and medical devices
Experience in IT helpdesk support for software and hardware
Knowledge about Mechanical engineering, Bioengineering, electrical engineering, microscopy optics, histology, immunoassays
Hands-on experience with basic laboratory techniques
