Overview
Designing and prototyping high-speed analog and digital circuits for optoelectronic signal processing, synchronization and multi-gigabit communication. Creating schematics, simulating designs, and coordinating the development process from layout to production-ready PCBs. Developing embedded firmware applications for MCUs and FPGAs. Acquiring and analyzing measurement data during prototyping, characterization, and debugging. Collaborating closely with a cross-functional team and coordinating external development partners. Taking responsibility for subsystems and complete products throughout their entire lifecycle. Contributing to the development of LiDAR, camera, and motion stabilization technologies.
Qualifications
* BSc/MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from a university or FH
* Experienced designer of high-speed analog front ends and optoelectronic circuits, including multi-gigabit amplifiers, AD/DA converters and comparators
* Experience with fast communication protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, Aurora or similar
* Skilled in using hardware simulation and modeling tools such as SPICE or similar
* Hands-on testing and problem-solving with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, and logic analyzers
* Experience writing embedded firmware in C/C++ and familiarity with MCUs and FPGAs
* Comfort working with Linux or other operating systems for embedded applications
* Efficiently analyze measurement data using MATLAB or Python
* Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
* Curious, self-driven with strong interest in learning and continuous improvement
* Fluent in English or German
