Duties And Responsibilities
As Room Attendant, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
Monitor daily arrivals according to occupancy report in coordination with the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Assist guests with special needs and requirements.
Stock supply wheel trolley with required room supplies for shift.
Replace supplies in the rooms such as stationary folder, guest supplies, compendium, hotel brochures and information regarding hotel services and facilities.
Remove furniture, curtains and other fixtures requiring repair, replacement, spotting, waxing or cleaning.
Change bed linen with clean bed sheets and pillowcases as per the resort policy.
Care for all details, the style and the overall appearance of all areas.
Apply, use and maintain equipment with utmost care and responsibility.
Provide turn down service according to service standards, including re-stocking minibar.
Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. Maintain and exceed performance benchmarks.
Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Room Attendant, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results, including:
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with hotel systems including POS, PMS, and CRM platforms. Good understanding of scheduling work, cleaning procedures, chemicals, and surfaces.
