Context
As part of the development of advanced data platforms and AI-driven solutions for several of our clients, we are looking for a Data Engineer & AI / Data Science Specialist able to design, build and operate robust data ecosystems while delivering high-value analytics and intelligent solutions.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, advanced analytics, and AI, with a strong focus on transforming data into actionable insights and business value.
Mission Objectives
* Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
* Develop and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases
* Operate and continuously improve data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data platforms
* Ensure data availability, reliability, and performance across environments (dev/test/prod)
AI & Data Science
* Develop, train, and deploy machine learning and AI models to solve business problems
* Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and model evaluation
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and define AI-driven use cases
* Industrialize models (MLOps) and monitor performance, drift, and data quality
Data Quality, Security & Governance
* Implement data quality checks and validation rules within pipelines
* Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards
* Document data models, pipelines, and AI solutions for transparency and scalability
* Work closely with Data Analysts, BI Developers, and business teams
* Contribute to agile delivery (backlog refinement, sprint execution)
* Participate in architectural decisions and promote best practices
* Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and cost efficiency
* Stay up to date with emerging data, AI, and cloud technologies
* Contribute to the evolution of enterprise data and AI strategies
Key Skills
* Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling (relational & NoSQL)
* Proficiency in Python and common data/AI libraries
* Experience with data processing frameworks (Spark, Databricks, etc.)
* Solid understanding of machine learning and applied AI techniques
* Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP)
* Knowledge of data orchestration tools (Airflow, ADF, Prefect…)
* Good understanding of ETL/ELT, batch vs streaming architectures
Profile
* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
* 4–8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Science or AI-related roles
* Proven experience delivering production-grade data and AI solutions
* Strong knowledge of DevOps, DataOps and MLOps practices
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control
* Familiarity with agile methodologies
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
* Ability to translate complex technical topics into business value
* High ownership, autonomy, and team spirit
* Structured, proactive, and results-oriented
