Role Overview
Internship within the Group Performance Management team, part of the CFO unit of Julius Baer, based in Zurich. The intern supports integrated financial planning, capital market simulations, strategic initiatives and finance analytics.
Responsibilities
* Gain exposure to the finance organization and operating model of a private bank.
* Support development and maintenance of integrated planning models across Profit &Loss, Balance Sheet and Capital dimensions.
* Assist with simulations and scenarios for the capital market story and regular planning operations.
* Obtain deep insights into financial steering frameworks and incentivisation structures.
* Contribute to strategic and organisational initiatives and projects.
* Drive enhanced finance analytics to support executive decision‑making.
* Create frequent presentations for senior management.
* Engage with stakeholders at Group, Regional and Business Unit levels to drive steering frameworks and planning topics.
Qualifications
* Strong academic record and Bachelor’s degree with above‑average grades, ideally in finance, economics or business administration.
* Initial practical experience in the financial services industry, especially banking and financial products, is a plus.
* Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth.
* Global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills and strong appetite for learning.
* Independent, resilient and team‑oriented personality.
* Strong analytical and quantitative modelling skills.
* Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
* Eligibility to work in Switzerland; location based in Zurich.
