Role Description
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding business challenges and designing effective solutions. You will engage with business stakeholders to identify objectives, translate these into functional requirements, and support development teams in creating systems and processes that meet those needs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting stakeholder interviews, leading requirement-gathering workshops, analyzing workflows, and documenting business requirements with clarity and precision. You will also collaborate with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with user expectations.
Beyond requirements gathering, you will be involved in developing test plans, supporting user acceptance testing, and validating that delivered solutions align with business needs. Additionally, you will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for continuous process improvements. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing workflows, reducing operational inefficiencies, and ensuring projects deliver real business value. Success in this role requires a balance of analytical expertise, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively across both business and technical functions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or industry certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum Master) are advantageous.
3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within consulting, IT, finance, or enterprise systems environments.
Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements analysis, and solution design methodologies.
Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, with experience facilitating workshops and sprint planning sessions.
Solid technical aptitude with the ability to communicate effectively between business stakeholders and IT teams.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, capable of evaluating complex issues and delivering actionable recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and present insights to diverse audiences.
Experience in developing use cases, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Knowledge of data analysis techniques and familiarity with SQL, Excel, or BI tools is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
