Job description
1. You develop a joint business plan for your countries and define the optimal Route-to-Market strategy (in cooperation with local commercial partner). You implement our repeatable activation model in order to drive rotations in our key outlets;
2. You bring your existing commercial partners to a new level by translating in-depth knowledge (market dynamics, competitive set, etc) into a strategy to further grow the business locally;
3. You analyze market data (Nielsen/sell-out data from retailers) of relevant categories in order to build effective customer selling stories;
4. You use insights from other markets to help and support our commercial partner in making and excellently executing sales and marketing plans;
5. You conduct business reviews with partners frequently and follow up regularly;
6. You define the optimal pricing of our products in your countries, based on pricing guidelines, on value chain proposal and competitive set;
7. You develop insights in your markets by following up the business in depth through a KPI dashboard and an in-depth analysis of the performance of the products;
8. You map the assortment to find optimizations and if clear opportunities, you make an internal business case to launch potential new products in your markets;
9. You report to the International Sales Manager Global Markets.
Profile
10. You hold a Master degree in economics, sales, marketing,…
11. You combine an academic background with +/- 2 years of experience in Sales and/or Category Management in FMCG.
12. A knowledge/experience of international business would be appreciated.
13. You’re eager to spend most of your time in your markets to support your commercial partners. You’re willing to travel up to 30% of your time.
14. Ideally you have some experience with Healthy Snacking products. Affinity is an absolute must.
15. Strong inter-cultural intelligence - you easily get things done amid high level of empathy of other cultures, religions, values etc.
16. You have strong analytical capabilities and are strong in follow-up.
17. People describe you as energetic, result driven and detail-oriented with focus on the execution.
18. You have an entrepreneurial spirit (start from scratch) and are ambitious (top sport mentality, continuously raise the bar setting new stretching targets & creating new opportunities).
19. You’re an absolute team player, but also work independently (self-starting ability).
20. You think and act as an owner (entrepreneur) with pragmatism and sense of urgency.
21. You can speak & write fluently in English.
