Members of our Forensic Technology team have a crucial part in the delivery of large data-driven projects for our clients who are facing a crisis situation either through external factors like a data breach or financial fraud, or are being investigated by a regulatory body. You will drive our response by securing, investigating, and handling digital evidence and electronic information.
Your contribution to KPMG
* Play a key role to lead investigation teams to establish what has happened, uncovering what occurred, when, who was involved, how, and its impact.
* Apply advanced investigative and visualization techniques, machine learning, and predictive coding algorithms to get faster and better insights into collected data.
* Lead the development of novel tools and methodologies, and build scripts to enhance the delivery of digital forensic services.
* Oversee the acquisition of digital evidence from a broad range of data sources such as computer/laptop hard drives, USB and external storage devices, mobile devices, networks, server systems, and IoT devices.
* Perform digital forensic analysis and evaluation of data from various sources using specialized tools and state-of-the-art methodologies.
* Manage and maintain KPMG's digital forensic lab and equipment, and contribute to training, mentoring, and guiding team members on related methodologies, best practices, tools, and capabilities.
* Manage operational elements of KPMG's digital forensic technology solutions, such as developing, implementing, and maintaining digital forensic service operating procedures and playbooks.
This is what makes you successful
* Hold a master's degree in data science, computer science, natural science, engineering, or other related majors.
* 8-10 years of experience in a similar field, preferably in the consulting area.
* Good knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) and data query languages (SQL).
* Strong machine learning and natural language processing techniques (text classification, semantic search).
* Proficient with Relativity and experience with forensic collections (Encase / FTK / Cellebrite, etc.).
* Good knowledge of operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Unix, MacOS).
* Proficient in English and French; German is a strong advantage.
