To strengthen our Production department, Emile Egger & Cie SA, based in Cressier, is looking for a:
You will lead the Production department, which encompasses various aspects of the manufacturing process. Your role will be to ensure the production and delivery of pumps and parts within the required timeframe and quality standards. You will be responsible for improving the efficiency of operational processes. With several production sites worldwide, you will work on strengthening collaboration with them.
Main responsibilities
Production Manager (including machining, assembly, metalwork, methods, maintenance, and workshop planning)
Implementation, review, and monitoring of production indicators
Collaboration with the Technical Department and project managers
Definition of continuous improvement processes
Collaboration with the Quality Department to ensure product quality
Management and optimization of production costs in Cressier
Implementation of safety rules and environmental standards on site
Participation in the development of the product strategy and adaptation of operations accordingly
Defining the production strategy and proposing associated investments
Contact with critical suppliers
Participation in Management Team meetings
Profile and skills
Proven track record in a similar role within one-unit or small-batch production
Knowledge of machining techniques, processes, and tools
Natural leadership and production management experience
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Demonstrated project management experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of finance
Fluency in French and English (knowledge of German would be a strong asset)
