As one of the primary on‑site IT representatives, you will serve as the trusted face of IT for our Swiss colleagues — combining deep technical skills with genuine service commitment. If you thrive on solving complex problems and want your expertise to matter, this role is for you. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liServe as a primary on‑site IT point of contact and escalation lead for the Zurich site, coordinating with local and global IT teams as needed. /li liDeliver comprehensive desktop and systems support across Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat/Creative Cloud, Oracle Client Tools, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. /li liExecute Install/Move/Add/Change (IMAC) activities and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal workstation performance. /li liProvide hands‑on support for Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and local network infrastructure — including switches, patch panels, and structured cabling — in coordination with centralized infrastructure teams. /li liManage and resolve daily support activities via the ticket management system, maintaining accurate updates and clear user communication through to resolution. /li liSupport local backup, restore, and archival processes; maintain working knowledge of ODBC connectivity and basic SQL client configuration. /li liLead endpoint deployment and imaging activities using tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Autopilot. /li liEnsure all endpoint and infrastructure systems comply with GxP and data‑integrity regulatory requirements, validated processes, and change control procedures. /li liProvide IT onboarding training for new hires and ongoing end‑user guidance to maximize productivity. /li liAssist with on‑site cabling, local switch installation, and network equipment troubleshooting. /li /ul h3What You Will Bring /h3 ul liPost‑secondary education in IT or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience. /li li3–5 years of proven technical support experience spanning desktops, servers, and networks. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required; fluency in German is highly preferred. /li liStrong proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem; experience with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Defender, Oracle clients, and Citrix environments. /li liWorking knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VLAN concepts, and basic switch configuration. /li liFamiliarity with endpoint deployment tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Autopilot. /li liExcellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, paired with a strong customer service orientation. /li liMicrosoft certifications (Azure Administration, Windows Server Hybrid Administration, or Modern Desktop Administration Associate) are a distinct advantage. /li liExperience in regulated environments, including lab instrumentation support, is advantageous. /li liFull on‑site availability in Fehraltorf/Zurich is required. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
