Your mission
* Product Sourcing: Identify and source new products that align with customer preferences and market trends.
* Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms, ensuring high-quality product offerings.
* Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to optimize availability and minimize excess stock; coordinate deliveries with logistics.
* Market Analysis: Analyze sales data and market trends to inform purchasing decisions; monitor competitors for opportunities.
* Product Assortment: Develop and implement strategic product assortments across various categories to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales and profitability.
* Regularly review product performance and adjust assortments based on customer feedback and sales trends.
* Collaboration: Work with marketing and sales to align product launches and promotions; build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
* 3+ years proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
* Experience in buying Fashion is a strong plus.
* Experience in working with different sourcing models (Wholesale, Reservation, Dropshipping).
* Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier management.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
* Detail-oriented with a keen eye for product selection and assortment planning.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
* Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Language skills: English (fluent level) plus German or French preferred.
