Track and report greenhouse gas emissions data with accuracy. As a Carbon Emissions Analyst, you will contribute to our company's ability to manage carbon across the business.
Main Responsibilities
* Collect, analyze, and interpret GHG emission factors from industrial activities, transportation, and commodity supply chains.
* Maintain up-to-date emission factor and unit conversion databases for Group emissions reporting and ensure consistency of data usage across Scope 1, 2 and 3 calculations.
* Stay updated on applicable voluntary and mandatory reporting standards, best practices and industry guidance related to GHG emissions reporting.
* Support the development of a GHG emissions reporting knowledge base that enables robust, consistent and verifiable GHG emissions data collection, calculation and reporting practices across the Group.
* Provide additional support to the reporting, systems and assurance teams as required.
Your Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in sustainability, economics, engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Knowledge of the GHG Protocol, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and international sustainability reporting standards and guidance.
* Advanced analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets, interpret complex information, and provide actionable insights.
* Proficient in Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
* Proficiency in data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Power BI) is desirable.
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
