General Information:
We are looking for a Machine Safety Engineer. You will contribute to the development of automated industrial machines, while ensuring their compliance with current safety regulations.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the design of machine safety systems .
* Support design teams in risk analyses and the application of standards.
* Validate risk analyses on the first production machines.
* Organize and carry out validation tests of security functions.
* Ensure the updating and compliance of CE documentation with product managers.
* Identify vulnerabilities and suggest improvements, using recent safety technologies.
* Manage machine safety standards and promote their application.
* Adapt the CE documentation to the new regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
Profile sought
* HES engineering degree in mechanics, industrial systems or equivalent.
* Proven experience in machine safety (Directive 2006/42/EC, Regulation 2023/1230, CE, ISO, EN standards).
* Good knowledge of mechanics and automation.
* Ability to manage projects.
* Rigor, autonomy, organizational skills.
* Good knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of HCL Notes, CAD/PLM and Sistema is an asset.
* Good level of English for technical documentation. French is the working language.
