In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting automation systems within a manufacturing environment. You will ensure compliant and reliable operation of control systems, collaborating with external partners and supporting commissioning activities. The position requires hands-on experience with DeltaV DCS and a strong background in process control systems.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing and configuring the DeltaV system for utility, process, and environmental monitoring systems
Review and approve automation requirements, design documentation, testing, and validation processes
Provide technical guidance to external system integrators during software configuration and testing
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) by reviewing documents and witnessing activities
Assist in the integrated commissioning of hardware, software, and interfaces across various systems
Support third-party package unit integration into the overall automation landscape, including data interface mapping
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure smooth operation of control systems
Contribute to project decision-making by providing timely information to minimize costs and delays
Collaborate with MES teams to deploy electronic logbooks and facilitate system integration
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Electrical, Chemical, Process Control Engineering or related field
5 to 10 years of experience in process control system design and configuration
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with DeltaV DCS
Strong understanding of S88 batch software architecture
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of regulatory standards such as CFR 21 Part 11 and GAMP 5 is a plus
Experience in the Life Sciences industry is advantageous
Fluent in English; German language skills are a benefit
