We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT System Administrator to support and enhance our IT infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient systems that enable business operations across the organization.
Your Responsibilities
* Maintain, monitor, and optimize server, network, and endpoint infrastructure (on-premise and cloud)
* Provide timely technical support to users across locations
* Implement and maintain security best practices (patch management, access controls, backups)
* Administer virtualization environments (e.g., VMware/Hyper‑V) and cloud services (Azure/AWS) where applicable
* Manage identity, authentication, group policies, and onboarding/offboarding processes
* Troubleshoot complex IT issues and drive continuous improvements
* Planning and implementation of IT projects and migrations
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of hands‑on experience in system administration
* Fluency in German and English
* Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
* Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies
* Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
* Working with autonomy, strong team orientation and process improvement
* Experience with ITIL or structured support processes is a plus
