About Our Client

Job Description
* Lead all planning functions for the project to ensure timely execution.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders including detailed design teams, procurement partners, construction subcontractors, turnaround, and commissioning teams.
* Secure and consolidate project schedule inputs and communicate planning requirements to relevant project resources.
* Provide early warnings and insights to the Project Manager regarding risks, opportunities, and schedule deviations.
* Challenge stakeholders on high‑risk or critical path items to maintain realistic and timely deliverables.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with major equipment suppliers and construction subcontractors to optimize planning and scheduling performance.
* Manage planning‑related claims on behalf of the project.
* Oversee the issuance and consolidation of supplier/subcontractor schedule feedback and ensure updates to internal databases.
* Report planning progress to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and structured communication.
* Establish interfaces and foster alignment with key project stakeholders.
* Uphold the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct in all planning activities.
* Monitor, report, and present project performance indicators and scheduling metrics to leadership and the client.
The Successful Applicant
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum 15 years' experience in planning management within the energy, oil & gas, renewable, or similar industries.
* Strong procurement exposure on major projects (>USD 20M).
* Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6.
* Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
* Experience in international contracting and negotiation.
* Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
* Strong computer skills and familiarity with project controls; cost control experience is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, and professional ethics.
* Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
