Regional Sales Director – Ultisense, Middle East & Turkey.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop markets to create a substantial contribution to the Ultisense business.
* Identify business opportunities, build trustful relationships, and secure orders from large industrial defense accounts.
* Collaborate with business partners and liaison organizations in the territories.
* Understand current and future customer requirements.
* Structure go‑to‑market strategies and develop, implement and measure KPIs for growth and success.
* Create and implement marketing initiatives in close cooperation with the marketing and product management teams.
* Participate in important exhibitions and conferences.
* Support, evaluate, develop and improve industrial partnerships.
Qualifications & Profile
* Familiar with the target territory and, ideally, experienced in the defense market.
* Very familiar with Turkish and/or Arabic culture.
* Strategic thinker with a proven record of defense sales of high‑tech products.
* Able to navigate complex buyer structures and engage multiple stakeholders.
* Technical background with interest in end‑user applications and technical negotiations on sensors, electronics, and software.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and intercultural skills.
* Engineer with complementary education in sales management and marketing, minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
* Knowledge of trade and contract law is an advantage.
* Team player who collaborates with Safran Vectronix departments and the broader Safran group.
* Fluency in German and English mandatory; French, Turkish, Arabic beneficial.
* Willing to travel approximately 50% of the time.
* Home base: Heerbrugg, Switzerland.
