We are looking for a Head of Solutions & Partner Success to own the full client lifecycle, from first conversation to long-term partnership.
This is a hybrid commercial and technical leadership role: you will sell, but you will also be the architect and project owner who brings each client live and keeps them growing.
You will be the single point of ownership across the client journey, coordinating Client, IT, Compliance, and Operations to turn signed deals into live, revenue-generating integrations.
You will start hands-on and build a team beneath you as the book of business grows.
What you will do:
* Win new business. Identify, qualify, and close mid-market and scale-up clients for our Fintech-as-a-Service platform through consultative, solution-led selling.
* Own the technical sale. Run product and API demos, scope integration architectures, and translate client needs into deliverable solutions alongside our IT team.
* Drive onboarding end-to-end. Act as the bridge between the Client and our IT, Compliance, and Operations functions through KYC/AML, integration, and regulatory onboarding.
* Bring clients live. Lead go-live and commissioning, owning timelines and sequencing to a successful launch.
* Grow accounts for life. Manage each client throughout the contract term, driving retention, satisfaction, and upsell.
* Build the function. Establish the processes and, over time, the team that will scale Solutions Sales and Client Delivery as Ephelia grows.
What you bring
* 6+ years in fintech, payments, embedded finance, BaaS, EMI, or PSP environments, in a role combining commercial ownership with technical client work (solutions/sales engineering, presales, solutions consulting, or technical account management).
* A proven track record of consultative B2B selling to fintech and scale-up clients, with full ownership of the deal and the relationship.
* Genuine technical fluency: you read API documentation, test REST/JSON integrations, run technical demos, and design integration solutions. A true solutions engineer, not a non-technical seller.
* Working understanding of KYC/AML, regulated onboarding, and how to coordinate Compliance and Operations.
* Project ownership mindset: you are comfortable being the single point of accountability across multiple internal teams and the client.
* Leadership ambition: you want to build and lead a team, not just carry a quota.
Languages
* Fluent English and Italian (mandatory).
* A third language is a strong plus: German (opening Switzerland and the DACH region), French, or Spanish.
