Responsibilities
As a lecturer at the Institute for Risk & Insurance within the Business Mathematics team, you will undertake activities across all four areas of performance: teaching, further education, research & development, and services. Specifically:
* Design and deliver lectures on Finance in the Insurance Management specialization
* Teach quantitative courses (Applied Business Mathematics, Data Science, and Actuarial Science)
* Acquire projects and participate in collaborations (services, Innosuisse projects, etc.)
* Publish in finance and insurance journals, studies, newspapers
* Engage in further education: activities in the MAS Insurance Management and/or the PK Expert training
* Represent the institute in the Swiss insurance and finance industry
Profile
* Doctorate in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences
* Additional qualifications such as Actuary SAV or PK Expert are advantageous
* Methodological and didactic qualifications / experience in teaching and further education
* Team-oriented, open knowledge sharing, and contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment
