Senior Mechanical System Engineer – Powerplant Systems
Location: Luzern (LU), Switzerland
Contract: Permanent, full‑time

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide engineering support for propeller and hub‑related mechanical systems within advanced aircraft powerplant architectures.
* Capture, analyse, and validate system requirements, ensuring the production of clear and structured technical documentation.
* Demonstrate system compliance with applicable airworthiness and certification standards (FAR/EASA CS‑23).
* Develop system‑level test plans, test procedures, and certification reports for submission to certification authorities.
* Technically coordinate and monitor supplier development activities related to assigned systems and components.
* Support aircraft and propulsion system ground and flight test campaigns, including international travel when required.
Qualifications:
* University degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
* Minimum of eight years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within development, integration, and certification environments.
* Proven experience in systems engineering activities related to one or more aircraft systems.
* Knowledge of powerplant or propulsion system integration is considered an advantage.
* Strong data analysis, reporting, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities in parallel.
* Fluent English skills (C1 level); knowledge of German is considered a plus.
