We are seeking a
Team Leader
to oversee engine maintenance operations in a high-performance aviation workshop. The role focuses on ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all maintenance activities while managing and developing a skilled technical team.
Your Tasks
* Ensure compliance with all Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations
* Guarantee quality workmanship in line with airworthiness and regulatory standards
* Optimize staff allocation and maintain high production output
* Address quality deviations, audit findings, and customer complaints with corrective actions
* Assign tasks and manage vacation planning in line with engine schedules
* Coordinate support across departments to ensure availability of tools, equipment, and documentation
* Manage human resources to maintain skill availability and meet operational demand
* Identify and support training and development needs
* Promote continuous improvement using Lean principles
* Manage and improve processes to meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Drive a performance culture through goal setting and structured follow-ups
* Apply performance management processes and foster employee motivation
Your Profile
* Completed technical apprenticeship (minimum 4 years)
* Technical education background
* Operational and managerial experience in the aviation industry
* Proven ability to manage manpower and resources effectively
* Strong communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset
* Knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures
* Proficient in MS Office
* Fluent in English (verbal and written, level C1)
* High customer focus and team-oriented approach
* Ability to work under pressure
* Willingness to work in a two-shift system
