What You’ll Do
* Act as principal expert for functional testing of primary packaging and drug delivery systems
* Ensure scientifically and statistically valid conclusions are taken based on the generated data and acute knowledge of measurement uncertainty
* Maintain and expand the testing capability of the laboratory (methods, equipment, SOPs) by interacting with equipment suppliers, designing and validating customized fixtures and processes
* Nurture Lonza’s expertise in tackling our customers’ challenges associated with primary packaging of biological drugs
What We’re Looking For
* BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering, metrology or related field
* Curious Team player, willing to evolve in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment and impact several production sites
* Experience with testing of primary packaging (e.g. vials, PFS) and devices (e.g. syringes, pens), including container closure integrity
* Experience with statistical evaluation of test results and measurement uncertainty.
* Experience with test method development and validation is an asset
* Experience within an ISO 17025 accredited organization is an asset
* Fluency in written and spoken English, German is a big plus
