Major/Essential Functions
1. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care at the Dalby Unit.
2. Administer medications safely and accurately, following facility protocols.
3. Document and communicate patient information using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to support clinical decision-making.
4. Assist with exams, treatments, and procedures—preparing and operating medical equipment as needed.
5. Complete thorough intake and discharge documentation, including patient histories.
6. Maintain clean, well-stocked, and functional care areas and medical equipment.
7. Step in as a relief charge nurse when needed, providing guidance and support to nursing staff.
8. Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers, including reporting on patient transfers and significant changes.

Required Qualifications
License/Certification:
Current RN License in the State of Texas, or ability to transfer license to Texas, or scheduled to complete a program of nursing within 120 days of applying for a position. Graduated from an approved accredited nursing program. New graduates must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX- RN) on the first attempt.
Experience: No experience required.
