Ph3Your mission /h3 pbKey Responsibilities /b /p ul liDefine and maintain the top-level aircraft system architecture, ensuring cohesive integration of all subsystems. /li liPerform functional decomposition of aircraft systems including avionics, propulsion, guidance control, and payload integration. /li liDevelop and manage top-level system requirements with full traceability to subsystems and mission objectives. /li liProvide oversight of Verification Validation planning and execution, ensuring system-level requirements are verified and validated according to industry standards. /li liLead interface management between mechanical, avionics, software, and payload subsystems. /li liEnsure regulatory compliance for UAV platforms, including SC Light UAS and other applicable standards. /li liCollaborate with design, manufacturing, testing, and operations teams to ensure compliance requirements across the UAV development lifecycle. /li liGuide and mentor junior system engineers, fostering a strong systems engineering culture. /li liMaintain and update system engineering artifacts, including architecture models, interface control documents, requirement specifications, and design rationale. /li liParticipate in risk assessment, safety analysis, and airworthiness activities, ensuring robust and compliant system design. /li /ul h3Competencies Duties /h3 ul liWorking independently and responsibly. Perform tasks as described above. /li liCompliance according to ANAVIA’ employment contract, compliance with company’ safety instructions and employee’ safety requirements, compliance with employers’ quality manual, work instructions and corresponding process specifications and instructions. /li liInternational travel requires up to 25% of employee’ working hours. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 pbQualifications /b /p ul libEducation: /b Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering. /li libExperience: /b 10+ years of experience in aerospace or UAV systems engineering, with strong exposure to system architecture, requirements management, and VV. Proven track record in leading system engineering teams and defining aircraft system architecture. /li liDeep understanding of regulatory frameworks, including SC Light UAS and CS-27. Experience in requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, Polarion, or equivalent). Familiarity with systems engineering standards (INCOSE, ISO 15288, ARP4754A). /li libSkills: /b Strong knowledge of Verification Validation planning, testing, and integration. /li liHigh analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to balance technical rigor with practical engineering constraints. /li libCommunication: /b Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and regulators. /li libLanguage: /b Proficiency in English (oral and written).
