Responsibilities
Business Impact
Collaborate across Microsoft and customer/partner teams to deliver strategy that achieves customer objectives and increases satisfaction, while proactively managing technical risks and applying governance principles.
Identify new opportunities for consumption and usage at scale based on business value, the Microsoft value proposition, and the supported platforms to drive cloud success, security, resiliency, and AI innovation.
Listen and respectfully challenge customers and partners, build trust, and advocate alternative architectures or solutions that enhance requirements while evaluating industry trends and partner insights to align architecture with business outcomes.
Partner Specialization
Identify and prioritize revenue‑aligned opportunities, orchestrate solution utilization pipeline growth with partners, and aid partners and sales teams in clarifying opportunities through proof of concept and pre‑sales support.
Guide and support partners to develop repeatable offerings, practices, products, and solutions, advising them during initial strategic implementations.
Technical Leadership
Identify gaps via delivery, communicate them to stakeholders, and connect patterns across business and technology areas to drive improvements to products, IP, and processes that enable scalable solutions.
Lead virtual teams around technologies and partner challenges, share insights and strategic input with internal communities, contribute to intellectual property development, and participate in external technical community events to elevate the Microsoft brand.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Proven technical pre‑sales or technical consulting experience OR bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND a couple of years technical pre‑sales or consulting experience OR master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND a couple of years technical pre‑sales or consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
Professional English proficiency and fluency in at least one of the following languages: German, French, Italian.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Data Security Compliance, Purview, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and the Purview Suite.
Knowledge of security standards like NIS, GDPR, ISO 27001, and others.
Previous experience in a customer‑facing role (internal and/or external).
Previous experience working on technical projects.
Technical certifications in cloud (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, security certifications).
