Your Responsibilities:
* The Regional President - Animal Nutrition EMEA reports directly to the Global President - Animal Nutrition and will participate in the Senior Leadership team of Animal Nutrition. He/she is accountable for the business and P&L in Europe, Middle-East and Africa for the businesses included in this unit including Premixes & Services, Aquaculture, Specialty Nutrition and Additive businesses.
* Lead the regional business unit managing all commercial operations and manage the P&L responsibilities for the region.
* Set and execute strategic goals and annual business plans, profit targets and growth plans for EMEA in alignment with global strategic objectives for the business unit and implement strategies to achieve those plans.
* Identify, elevate brand awareness and increase market share in existing markets and maximize new business development opportunities through various strategies.
* Build, inspire and motivate team leaders/members to achieve projected sales and profit plans. This includes mentoring especially in regard to our values and vision.
* Develop and track performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
* Oversee and manage every aspect of in-country business development initiatives and ensure assets are managed well.
* Analyze current and potential clients and market needs / tendencies – deep customer understanding.
* Collaborates with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Marketing and R&D to ensure strategic objectives are met.
* Foster strategic partnerships with 3rd parties, joint venture partners, cooperatives and other stakeholders to effectively manage the business.
* Represent the regional business in the global Animal Nutrition leadership team; as well as in the EMEA Executive Council. Seek cross-BU opportunities for collaboration and enterprise opportunities.
* Able to identify operational risks and ensure adherence to compliance standards across the region.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor/Master Degree in Business, Animal Nutrition, Agricultural or similar industry.
* At least 15 years of relevant business experience in (animal) nutrition with P&L responsibility.
* Successful track record in managing a commercial P&L in an international business setting; ideally with experience in value-added products in food and/or feed.
* Strategic team leadership with proven ability to set vision and formulate effective business plans, developing diverse teams in a multicultural environment.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a track record in effectively managing change.
* Results driven and ability to thrive in high-pace environment.
* Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills with solid history of data-driven strategic development.
* Excellent planning and organization skills to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
