Overview
The Chief Human Resources Officer assumes overall strategic responsibility for the SKAN Group’s global HR and Academy organization and reports directly to the CEO. In this role, you will shape the further development of the corporate culture and contribute to the sustainable strengthening of human capital. The role offers a high degree of creative freedom in cultural and organizational development, talent management, compensation & benefits, HR compliance, and the digitalisation and further development of global HR processes and tools. The international mandate involves close cooperation and coordination with locations and HR teams worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Establish, develop and globally anchor our corporate culture
* Lead and develop international HR teams and the SKAN Academy
* Define, implement and continuously adapt the global HR strategy in collaboration with local HR managers, the Executive Board and the Board of Directors
* Develop and ensure global salary and compensation models
* Select, introduce and optimise global HR tools and systems
* Ensure worldwide labour law compliance in coordination with the compliance team
* Global responsibility for HR administration, including payroll management via the local HR teams
* Create, maintain and implement HR policies and directives
* Advise and coach management and executives on personnel‑related issues
* Oversee the overall HR budget, training budgets and cost control
* Communicate HR and employee information across the group
Hard skills
* Several years of international leadership experience in a C‑level, VP or Director HR role
* In‑depth knowledge of global HR management, organisational development and transformation processes
* Extensive knowledge of labour law, compensation & benefits, talent management and HR controlling
* Experience in implementing global HR IT systems
* Proven experience in establishing and developing corporate cultures
* Understanding of modern learning & development formats and talent development programmes
* Business fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage

* High level of empathy, strong communication skills and intercultural competence
